MamaBlogger365 - Back to School with Diane Lang

When September rolls around, we start thinking of back to school for our kids and dealing with work-life balance. This is a time of excitement along with new challenges and opportunities. I know I'm already feeling the stress of work-life balance. My biggest question is: will I make it home to get my daughter off the bus without sacrificing my time at work? MamaBlogger365 - Encouraging Your Child to Learn by Diane Lang

Like lots of other moms, you're probably working hard to prepare your children for a new school year, whether you've already started or have a couple of days left of summer "vacation"... here's Diane Lang with some tips on how to help your child start the year off right!

Encourage conversation - Encourage extended conversations by asking your children questions. Show your interest with non-verbal communications like smiling, nodding your head and touching -- pat their arm or shoulder while they talk.
