90 % of the students and travelers who tour the Museum Of Motherhood do not know what a Suffragette is. You can tour our 'Suffragette Sitting' room at the museum and our her-storic tableau depicting life at the turn of the century in Seneca Falls, NY, where the Women's Rights movement got it start here in the US.
Today, Smith College is visiting M.O.M. with author Jocelyn Crowley (Rutgers U.), who wrote the book Defiant Dads.
Our mission at the museum is to start great conversations, and that's exactly what we're doing.
We also create thought-provoking exhibits and encourage the exchange of information and education as it pertains to women, mothers and families.
